Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information Conspintrix ("the app") collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to operate the app's features.

1. Information We Collect

The app does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect identifying personal information such as your email address or phone number. The following data is collected:

• Anonymous device identifier. When you first launch the app, a random identifier (UUID) is generated and stored on your device. This identifier has no connection to your name, email, or any other personally identifying information. It is used to associate your gameplay data with a single device and to restore any gift code redemptions after reinstalling the app.
• Display name. If you choose to submit a score to the global leaderboard, you may optionally provide a display name. This name is shown publicly alongside your score to other players. Providing it is entirely optional, and you may leave it blank.
• Gameplay statistics. Records of games you play, including game mode, difficulty, track name, score, puzzle solve times, and timestamps, are uploaded to our servers to power optional leaderboard features.
• Gift code redemption status. If you redeem a gift code to unlock the full version, we record that your anonymous device identifier has redeemed a code so that your access can be restored if you reinstall the app.
• In-app purchase receipts. If you purchase the full version through the App Store or Google Play, purchase verification data provided by those platforms is used solely to confirm the validity of your purchase.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To display leaderboard scores within the app.
• To restore your full-version access after reinstalling the app.
• To verify in-app purchases and detect refunds.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the features described above.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

Gameplay statistics and gift code redemption records are stored using Supabase, a cloud database platform. Data may be stored on servers located in the European Union or the United States. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by its own Privacy Policy.

Achievements and platform leaderboards are provided through Google Play Games (on Android) and Game Center (on iOS). When you use these features, your platform player identifier and related gameplay progress are handled by Google or Apple under their respective privacy policies. These services are operated separately from our Supabase leaderboard.

In-app purchases are processed by:

• Apple Inc. (App Store) — subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Google LLC (Google Play) — subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Anonymous gameplay statistics and redemption records are retained indefinitely to support leaderboard functionality. Because the data is not linked to any identified individual, routine deletion requests cannot be matched to a specific account. If you would like all data associated with your anonymous device identifier removed, please contact us with your device identifier (see section 6).

5. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Because we collect only anonymous identifiers and gameplay data with no account registration, the app is suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child has provided identifiable information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have rights including:

• The right to know what data we hold about your device.
• The right to request deletion of your data.
• The right to data portability.

Because all data is keyed to an anonymous UUID rather than a name or email, you will need to provide your device's anonymous identifier when making a request. To find it, please contact us and we will assist you.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
