Introduction
This application provides on-device document scanning, text recognition (OCR), and PDF export.
Camera
The app uses the device camera, with the user's permission, to capture images of physical documents for scanning.
On-Device Processing
Document scanning, OCR, and PDF generation are performed entirely on-device using Google ML Kit and local processing. Scanned images, recognized text, and generated PDFs are not transmitted to the developer's servers.
Local Storage
Scanned documents and related data are stored locally on the device in an encrypted database. If app lock is enabled, the PIN is stored as a salted hash and is never transmitted or recoverable by the developer.
Sharing & Export
Users may choose to share or print exported PDFs/images using their device's native share and print functionality. This is initiated by the user and is not data collection by the developer.
In-App Purchases
The app offers optional in-app purchases via Google Play Billing to unlock additional features. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play; the developer does not receive payment card details.
Data Collection
The app does not collect, sell, or share personal information, scanned content, or usage data. The app does not require an internet connection for its core functionality.
Advertising & Analytics
The app does not display advertisements and does not use analytics or tracking technologies.
